Here\u2019s the program for the trip to Loi\u2019s hometown<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loi will pick you up at your hotel in Chiang Mai at 9:00 a.m. for a three-day trip to Muang Khong, his mountain hometown in Chiang Dao.
You can take your luggage with you and ask your hotel to store the rest (if that\u2019s not possible, you can bring all of it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s about a 1\u00bd-hour drive to Chiang Dao. Along the way, Loi will make several stops so you can experience local Thai life.
There will be a local lunch, and afterward, you\u2019ll drive with Loi to Doi Luang Chiang Dao National Park, a range of steep mountains with stunning natural views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, you\u2019ll arrive at your accommodation, where you can enjoy the sunset. A local dinner will be prepared, and you\u2019re welcome to help if you\u2019d like.
Enjoy a delicious meal and a cozy evening under the starry sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2e3b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loi will prepare a delicious breakfast, and then you\u2019ll take a walk through the jungle, where he\u2019ll show you all his \u201cTarzan\u201d skills.
You\u2019ll meet Loi\u2019s Karen family and learn about the farming and cultivation practices of the local Karen hill tribe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch, you\u2019ll take a peaceful bamboo raft trip on the Mae Taeng River.
Back at Mon Loi, Loi will once again prepare a wonderful dinner for a relaxing evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both nights you\u2019ll stay in a bamboo bungalow on a mountain, offering a beautiful view from your accommodation.
Each bungalow has a bathroom with a European-style toilet and hot shower, as well as a bed with a duvet, towels, soap, and shampoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2e3b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 5:30 a.m. (weather permitting and if you feel like getting up early \ud83d\ude09), you\u2019ll go see the \u201csea of clouds,\u201d about a 35-minute drive on a bumpy road.
Every sunrise is different, and you can admire this natural phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll then return to Mon Loi, pack your luggage while Loi prepares breakfast, and start your journey back to Chiang Mai.
On the way, you\u2019ll stop at hot springs, where you can take a bath, and have lunch at the Chiang Dao Cave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll arrive back in Chiang Mai in the late afternoon, and Loi will drop you off at your hotel.
Towels for the hot springs are provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exact order of activities may vary depending on circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
